Copyright Policy

1. Intellectual Property Protection

Aphelion Pvt. Ltd. respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires all users of Maleu to do the same. In accordance with the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and the Trade Marks Act, 1999, we act expeditiously to remove infringing material from our Platform.

Music Upload Limit: Standing as a community of original physical effort and intellectual contribution, Maleu does not permit users to upload standalone audio files or music tracks. Videos featuring background soundtracks are allowed strictly when you possess the necessary distribution rights.

2. Submitting a Copyright Takedown Request

If you believe copyrighted material has been uploaded to Maleu without authorization, you may submit a formal Takedown Request to our safety team. Your request must include:

• Your Identity: Your full legal name, physical address, phone number, and email.
• Description of Work: Clear description of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
• Location on Maleu: The exact post URL, username, or details of the specific location on our Platform. Vague references cannot be processed.
• Good Faith Affirmation: A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Accuracy Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided in the report is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
• Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

Submit your request to: fuy.aphelion@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright Takedown Request". Valid requests are typically processed within 48 to 72 hours.

3. Counter-Notifications

If your content was removed in error, you may submit a Counter-Notification containing: your name, contact details, identification of the removed work, a statement of good faith belief under penalty of perjury that the material was misidentified or removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Send your Counter-Notification to fuy.aphelion@gmail.com. Upon receipt, we forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court suit within 14 business days, we will restore the content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright infringement seriously. Accounts that accumulate **three (3) verified copyright strikes** will be permanently deactivated and banned from using Maleu. These strikes accumulate under our cumulative strike system and cannot be bypassed.

5. AI-Generated Content and Copyright

If you utilize generative artificial intelligence tools to create posts on Maleu, you are solely responsible for ensuring that the training datasets, models, or outputs do not infringe any third-party copyrights. Aphelion processes takedown claims against AI-generated material using the exact same standard as traditional creative assets.
